Established in 1971, Community Health Charities of California raises funds through workplace-giving campaigns to support the local California chapters of over 50 national and regional member health charities.

Our operating philosophy is simple:

• Health charities deserve the support of the public and private sectors, and have a need to access the workplace.
• Individual donors have a right to make an informed decision about their contributions, and about who handles that money for them.
• Community Health Charities of California leaves the choice on how much to give and to whom to give to each employee.

DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS
Community Health Charities of California makes no decisions as to which charities receive funding. The donors determine which of our member charities receive money by means of donor designations. CHCC distributes 89% of every dollar designated to member charities in corporate campaigns. No additional administrative fees of any kind are withheld from designated member charities.
